Cancellation Policy for Hi Needy

At Hi Needy, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the rules, procedures, and potential refunds when cancelling service appointments booked through our platform.

1. Cancellation by Users

Free Cancellation Window

Users can cancel a scheduled service without any penalty under the following conditions:

  • For standard services: Up to 4 hours before the scheduled appointment time
  • For emergency services: Up to 1 hour before the scheduled appointment time
  • For specialized services: Up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time

General Cancellation Timeframe

All services can generally be cancelled within 5 to 6 days of the scheduled date, depending on the type of service and booking conditions. This extended window allows users flexibility in managing their appointments.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made after the free cancellation window may incur the following charges:

  • 2-4 hours before appointment: 25% of the service fee
  • Less than 2 hours before appointment: 50% of the service fee
  • No-show without cancellation: 100% of the service fee

2. Cancellation by Service Providers

If a service provider cancels a confirmed appointment:

  • Users will receive a full refund for any payments made
  • Users will be offered priority rescheduling with another service provider
  • For last-minute cancellations (within 2 hours of appointment), users may receive a discount on their next booking

3. Refund Process

When a refund is applicable, the following process applies:

  • Payment Method: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the booking
  • Processing Time: Refunds typically process within 5-7 business days, depending on your payment provider
  • Hi Needy Credits: As an alternative to refunds, users may opt to receive Hi Needy credits with an additional 10% bonus value

4. Rescheduling Services

Instead of cancelling, users can reschedule their appointments:

  • Rescheduling is free if done before the free cancellation window
  • Rescheduling within the late cancellation period will incur a 10% service fee
  • A service can be rescheduled a maximum of 2 times

5. Special Circumstances

We understand that emergencies happen. The following circumstances may qualify for special consideration:

  • Medical emergencies (with documentation)
  • Natural disasters or severe weather conditions
  • Bereavement or family emergencies

In these cases, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible for assistance.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a cancellation fee or refund decision:

  • Submit a dispute request through your Hi Needy account within 7 days
  • Provide any relevant details or documentation to support your case
  • Our customer service team will review your request within 48 hours

7. Changes to This Cancellation Policy

Hi Needy reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our platform. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notifications.
